This especially formulated and laboratory tested Premium Diesel Fuel Additive was developed to help improve the reliability and performance of diesel fuels in all weather conditions. Along with performance, we added proprietary synergistic chemicals to improve the engine fuel efficiency for an “all in one additive”.
This ’state of the art’ formula contains advanced Technology Injection Cleaners, industry proven Fuel Stabilizers, patented Lubricity Agents, excellent Combustion Improvers, efficient Smoke Suppressants, a reliable non-alcohol Anti-icer, a special Wax Dispersant Additive and unique Flow Improvers for cold weather dependability.
Cetane Improver: This additive will raise the engine cetane number by 5+ numbers. What does this mean to you? More Horse Power (12 HP) added, Easier Starting, Quieter Idling and Improved Fuel economy (5% or better).
Detergency: The heart of your engine is your fuel system and it is very important to keep the fuel injector system clean and free of deposit build-up. This additive will make sure your engine is clean and running at maximum efficiency.
Lubrication: This additive helps to prevent fuel system wear by providing a lubricity rating to the fuel that exceeds the ASTM D-975 Diesel Fuel Requirement Specification for maximum engine protection (Less than 520 UM wear scar by the HFRR Lubricity Test).
Stabilizer: Protects the fuel from its natural degradation process and protects the fuel systems from the harmful effects of fuel oxidation build-up. This chemical additive limits free-carbon fall-out and sludge build-up, allowing quality fuel storage for prolonged periods of time.
De-icer: Anti-icer reduces the typical diesel fuel moisture content in fuel to a Freeze Point of –40F or more. Stops fuel line water/freeze ups.
Wax Dispersing Additives
Wax Dispersing Additives (“
WDATM”), are an exclusive additive from
Amalgamated,
Inc.
WDATM, along with other cold flow improvers, reduces the paraffin wax crystal size as well as the shape of the wax crystals. It does this at fuel temperatures
below the fuel Cloud Point allowing these smaller wax crystals to disperse throughout the fuel matrix. This permits the solidified paraffin content (wax) to go through fuel filters and minimize or eliminate any engine operability problems with fuel filter plugging
below the Cloud Point temperature. Using
WDATM in distillate fuels (including Bio-Diesel blends and fuel oils) also helps to lower the CFPP (Cold Filter Plugging Point) temperature and can provide dramatically improved cold weather operability of the fuels in ambient temperatures as low as 25 to 30 degrees below the fuel Cloud Point temperature.
CFPP & Pour Point Depressants: Lowers the CFPP (Cold Filter Plugging Point) temperature by 25F and reduces the fuel pour point (Jell Point) by as much as 35 degrees F.
